1.8.1 Ergot sclerotia and ergot alkaloids: Ergot sclerotia

| The maximum level applies to unprocessed cereal grains placed on the market before first-stage processing (6). In case scouring (6) is applied in the presence of ergot sclerotia, the cereals need to firstly undergo a cleaning step before scouring. The sampling shall be performed in accordance with point B of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 401/2006. | ||||
