Output

The GIFT tool shows its results on the last page. The title shows the name of the chemical substance and the survey.

In the first block some details of the substance are presented, and the name of the selected foods, and the concentration(s). If a file is used with a series of concentrations the output will show the number of observations, its range, and the median and average value.
In the situation of a single value or a file of concentrations the count of all subjects should be equal to the number of subjects (for Benin 116) multiplied with the number of days (2 for Benin). This would give 232 values for consumption quantities and intakes. A NOTE will be included if that number was not actually found. In the case of Benin there are only 219 observations, meaning that for some subjects (here 13) days are missing. This NOTE does not pop up when no observations are missing. For a Monte Carlo simulation this NOTE is also not shown because the number of observations is always equal to the number of repetitions asked for.
The next block shows the consumption, number of subjects and consumers, and a series of percentiles. In the following block the intake is shown, including the number of exposed subjects and number of consumers exceeding the ILV, and their percentiles.

The last block offers a file for download. This is a "csv" (comma-separated values) file, with a semicolon as separator. The semicolon is the default separator for import in Excel; for other packages a notification about the separator might be needed. Text is marked between double quotes. This file contains a short overview of the input, followed by rows of the individual consumers, consumption quantities, and intakes. Whether zero consumption data are presented depends on the user's input in the previous page.
Here one can also ask for an output on pdf format. In this file one will find an overview of the input and output.
